| #3 | Seems an age since I went on this Message Board commenting on the Intermediate Team's survival and making a case that we did not need a repeat in 2007.The time is here again,3 weeks from the 1st Round game V St Vincents, and I would make a plea to all in the Club supporters, mentors and in particular to the players(if any of them read this site)to overcome this first hurdle.
It is vital for hurling in Blackrock and for the young players coming up that we make an impression in this grade . We need an intermediate team to maintain a supply of players that will be able to take their place in the senior set up in the near future.
We do not need to spend the Summer and Autumn putting out bush fires at Intermediate Level. |

| #4 | Very timely observation, galwaysquare. Every effort should be made to get the intermediate team over this game.
This team is vital to the future of the Blackrock club. There seems to be loads of young fellows coming up from the underage section now so this team is needed to keep them going and getting them ready for the Senior team if they are good enough.
Any ready for the seniors yet. Richard Curtin is playing well and looks a great prospect. Is young Howard ready.
